Rochelle Joslin founded Simplify Home with a passion for helping others transform their living spaces—whether to fall in love with them all over again or prepare them for sale. Originally from New York, she moved to Florida over 20 years ago where she and her husband are raising their two children.
What began as a small idea has grown into a thriving design and renovation company offering full-service home staging, remodeling, construction and interior design. From humble beginnings, Rochelle has built Simplify Home into a trusted brand with two offices and a dedicated warehouse of curated furniture and décor. Her hands-on approach, eye for design and genuine care for clients remain at the heart of the company’s success.
Garett Hyman is the founder and hands-on leader of Simplify Home, a luxury custom home building and renovation firm based in Naples, Florida. A Certified Residential Contractor and seasoned construction professional, he runs the business with a commitment to integrity, clarity and craftsmanship at every stage—from first consultation to final walkthrough.
Originally from Michigan, Garett brings a Midwestern work ethic and values-driven approach to the Southwest Florida market. After relocating to Naples, he recognized the need for a construction firm that could deliver high-end results while keeping the process simple and stress-free. That vision became Simplify Home, a company dedicated to building beautiful, functional spaces while guiding homeowners with honesty and expertise.
Now firmly rooted in Naples, Garett lives with his wife and their three children. As both a family man and business owner, he understands the importance of creating a home reflects comfort, lifestyle and quality—a perspective evident in every project, whether a whole-home transformation, a luxury kitchen remodel or a custom outdoor living space.
Born and raised in Southwest Florida, Taryn Barreto brings her love of design, detail and local flair to every home she stages. After four years as a math teacher, she made the leap into the world of design in 2022, joining the Simplify Home team with a passion for helping homes shine their brightest.
Outside of work, Taryn enjoys spending time with her three beloved dogs, reading a good book or soaking up the Florida sunshine—whether at the beach or on the boat with family.
A Fort Myers native and recent graduate of Florida State University, Allie Shimko has been part of the Simplify Home team since its early days—contributing during summer and winter breaks throughout college. While at FSU, she gained valuable experience working with an interior designer specializing in mood boards that helped bring concepts to life.
Jessica Johnston was born in the Midwest but raised in Naples, where she has deep roots in the community. After graduating from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), she spent many years as an elementary school teacher before transitioning into her role at Simplify Home where she supports procurement and design operations.
Jessica lives in Estero with her husband Todd, their two teenagers, Bridget and Ross and their dog Tommy. On weekend, she enjoys boating, spending time with family and exploring her favorite local restaurants.
